Jessica Officially Parts Ways with SM Entertainment

Jessica and SM Entertainment have officially gone their separate ways.

SM Entertainment released an official statement on August 6, saying "After discussing with Jessica, who has been with SM Entertainment as an artist, we′ve decided to go our separate ways to promote each other′s growth."The statement continued, "Please support Jessica as she embarks on a new beginning."

Jessica withdrew from Girls′ Generation (SNSD) last September. She has been active as a designer since launching fashion brand Blanc & Eclare.
