[KCON 2017] Heize, WJSN and SF9 Attend First Day of KCON 2017 LA

Top kpop artist Heize and rookie groups WJSN and SF9 have attended the first day of KCON 2017 LA. They met with fans through fan meetings and also performed through KLUB KCON.

On August 18, fans gathered at the LA Convention Center for KCON 2017 LA. Fans visited a variety of booths to experience k-culture including k-food, k-beauty, k-pop and more.The first artist to visit fans at the convention was Heize, who swept music charts with tracks Don′t Know You and You, Clouds, Rain. Upon meeting her fans, Heize expressed her desire to visit Disneyland to meet Olaf as she owns a variety of Olaf printed products including dolls, stickers, blankets and clothes. Heize was then gifted an Olaf bag from her fans and was unable to hide her joy. When asked if she thought of herself as a singer or rapper, Heize answered, "I′m a singper. I like both and can′t decide between the two. I am a singer and rapper." Heize was also asked who she would like to collaborate with and in response to her fans shouting out ′Zico,′ the singer responded, "Just imagining a collaboration with him is an honor."

The second artists to meet their fans was WJSN. U-KISS member Kevin hosted the fan meeting and WJSN shared, "We′re excited that it′s our first time in America and happy that we had the opportunity to come for KCON." The girl group was greeted by welcoming fans and members Luda and Yeoreum responded by showing their cute aegyo. During a game portion of the fan meeting, WJSN received missions including showing their aegyo, switching parts of their tracks and random dance requests. WJSN, will be performing on Saturday night shared, "We prepared a special stage for KCON. We want to receive this energy on stage tomorrow too."

SF9 had a busy evening as well. They visited the AT&T Wiltern Store for a sign meeting and performed a special stage at KLUB KCON. Additionally, they also represented KCON artists by interviewing with LA′s top television station KTLA.
