[KCON 2017] ′KCON 2017 LA′ Completes Last Day with Thousands of Fans

KCON 2017 LA, which took place over three days and gathered over 80,000 visitors, has come to a close. On August 20, K-pop artists spent their final day with fans through KCON 2017 LA.

Much like the first two days of the convention, K-pop artists spent quality time with their global fans through fan meetings on the final day as well. Cute girl group Oh My Girl held their first fan meeting in LA and spent a memorable time with their fans. During the fan meeting, Oh My Girl danced, sang and shared stories.

Boy group GOT7 also met fans through their fan meeting. They shared that the first thing they did when arriving in LA was having dinner with Mark′s parents. GOT7 also planned a variety of content from showing their aegyo, sexy dance and more. Member JB also shared, "JJ Project′s album is currently out and GOT7 is also preparing for a group comeback."

ASTRO, who is attending their second KCON in LA following last year, began their fan meeting by expressing, "We were nervous last year because we were rookies, but also happy that many people supported and cheered for us." They continued, "We missed cheers of LA."

K.A.R.D, who was the only co-ed group attending the convention, shared, "Our strength is that we are a co-ed group and can show a new side through a variety of unit promotions."

Additionally, another artist to meet fans was Wanna One. Although Wanna One debuted less than one month ago, their global influence was proven by the reaction of fans. Upon meeting fans, Kang Daniel shared, "It′s especially special that we are meeting fans this closely."

During the red carpet, artists performing on the final day of KCON 2017 LA were in attendance. Special guest Kim Tae Woo was also in attendance and shared, "It′s my first time at KCON and I am shocked and happy to see that fans from all over the world love k-pop."

Following the red carpet event, the final 3rd day of KCON 2017 LA ended with a concert by artists K.A.R.D, Wanna One, On My Girl, Heize, ASTRO, NCT127, GOT7 and more. The concerts from both nights at KCON 2017 LA will air through Mnet′s M COUNTDOWN on August 31.

Meanwhile, following KCON 2017 LA, KCON will be moving to Australia in September. On September 22-23, KCON 2017 Australia will be held in Sydney with artists including Girl′s Day, Monsta X, EXO, WJSN, Wanna One, Pentagon, SF9 and more.
