KCON.TV, the leading short form online video destination dedicated to fans of k-pop and beyond, has announced a partnership with sister platform Mwave to livestream both the red carpet and star-studded concerts at KCON 2017 LA. The livestream can be accessed through both KCON.TV and Mwave!

Mwave, which is produced by Mnet, is a one-stop k-pop destination where fans can watch Mnet′s M COUNTDOWN, live chat with their favorite artists, buy k-pop merchandise, vote for their artists for various k-pop ranking charts and get the latest news. In the past, KCON.TV livestreamed the biggest events in Korean entertainment including MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards), KCON USA, SIA and more. The livestream for this year′s KCON 2017 NY, which took place in June, saw over 27,000 concurrent viewers during the two-day event. Additionally, KCON 2017 Mexico in March attracted 200,000 total viewers, 30,000 of which were concurrent.

Headlining the concerts during KCON 2017 LA include ASTRO, COSMIC GIRLS, GIRL’S DAY, GOT7, HEIZE, K.A.R.D, NCT 127, SEVENTEEN, SF9, SUPER JUNIOR D&E, VIXX and WANNA ONE, with special star guests Kim Tae Woo and Oh My Girl.

The KCON livestream for the red carpet will air at 6:00pm PDT and the concert will begin airing at 7:00pm PDT on both KCON.TV and Mwave. In addition to the red carpet and concert coverage, KCON.TV will be inviting special guests to their studio at the convention for interviews, which will broadcast live on KCON.TV throughout the three day event. Scheduled guests include TV personnel Sam Okyere, Buzzfeed′s Steven Lim, Youtuber Sunny Dahye, GoToe, HeyitsFeiii and more.

KCON.TV, which launched in July 2016 at KCON Los Angeles, provides viewers with original series, exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the hottest stars, livestreams of the biggest events in Korean entertainment and much more.
