Kim Tae Hee, Rain: Having a healthy baby is what's most important

Earlier this January, Rain and Kim Tae Hee tied the knot in a low-profile ceremony in Seoul after dating for about five years. This was followed by more good news in May, as Kim Tae Hee confirmed that she is expecting her first child.

Ahead of welcoming the new addition to the family, the couple embarked on a babymoon to Italy, which Rain’s father reportedly tagged along on.

Korean news outlets reported earlier this week that the pair are expecting a daughter sometime in late October, claiming that Kim Tae Hee went to the hospital for an ultrasound when she was 32 weeks pregnant, where she confirmed her unborn baby’s gender.

They further went on to report that the couple was delighted at the revelation and shared the good news with their loved ones.

However, both Rain and Kim Tae Hee denied these reports through their agency, sharing that their child’s due date will either be in late October or early November. They also emphasised that the gender of their baby is not important, and that they would not respond to these speculations.

They added that the most important factor to them is that the baby is healthy.
