MAMAMOO Close to Hitting 40,000 in Sales with ′Purple′
Girl group MAMAMOO is close to hitting 40,000 in sales with their new album Purple.
MAMAMOO′s 5th mini album Purple, which was released on June 22, was recorded on Hanteo Chart as selling 39,238 copies between June 22 and June 28.This sales show almost double compared to MAMAMOO′s 4th mini album Memory, which was released in November 2016 and solo 20,000 copies.
The new record is a huge feat as the average sales record for girl groups is 30,000.
MAMAMOO′s new title track Yes I Am is an energy filled track that also shows a cute side of the girl group. The girl group plans to actively promoting the track through a variety of music program appearances.
