Shawols (SHINee’s official fan club name) are in for a treat with the quintet announcing that they will be kicking off their fourth concert tour, SHINee WORLD IV, in Seoul on May 16 and 17.

The boy group is well known for its remarkable talent in both singing and dancing and has been well-received in both Korea and abroad. Their last Korean release, mini album Everybody, was unveiled in October 2013.

SHINee has been busy with their Japanese and personal schedules, with members Taemin and Jonghyun having made their respective solo debuts.

With news of the concert, speculation is rife that they will finally make their long-awaited Korean comeback. Their label-mates, EXO, recently held their five-day second solo concert in Seoul and teased fans with snippets of their title track, ‘Call Me Baby’.

EXO is currently in the midst of releasing teasers for their upcoming album EXODUS following the conclusion of their concert, giving fans the impression that both groups’ label, S.M. Entertainment, may use similar promotional methods for their artistes.

Tickets for SHINee WORLD IV in Seoul will go on sale from April 2.
