SNSD′s Tiffany to Leave ′Sister′s Slam Dunk′ After Controversy

Sister′s Slam Dunk has responded to SNSD Tiffany′s SNS controversy.

On August 18, KBS2′s Sister′s Slam Dunk revealed through a press release, "We have made a final decision for Tiffany to quit." The decision was made after discussions between the production staff and Tiffany′s agency SM Entertainment.Sister′s Slam Dunk explained, "We are responding to the controversy that arose after Tiffany uploaded a rising sun flag emoticon on her SNS on Korea′s National Liberation Day. After discussions, we understand the impact the controvery has over the nation and have decided that Tiffany will quit the show."

They continued, "′Sister′s Slam Dunk′ will not add another member immediately and continue with 5 members. The 19th episode was cancelled before the controversy due to the Rio Olympics and ′Sister′s Slam Dunk′ will air on the 26th."
