Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Ko spend first anniversary of engagement in Japan
The Song-Song couple was spotted holding hands on the streets of Tokyo
It’s been nearly two years since Descendants of the Sun was aired, and for leads Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo, January marks the month where they promised to spend their lives together.
Netizens spotted the couple in Tokyo, where Joong Ki popped the big question to his lady at the start of 2017. The couple was seen holding hands as they walked down the street, their evident love for each other creating envy amongst onlookers.
When recognized by fans, the couple reacted in a friendly manner, and agreed to give their autographs. They also took it a step further to shake hands with a fan, leaving the person completely smitten. Later, the fan described that “Song Joong Ki is extremely handsome while Song Hye Kyo is pretty and sexy”, and that “it was a lucky day” to be able to meet them.
The couple was also spotted taking slow romantic walks while holding hands, with the way Joong Ki held Hye Kyo’s hand – firmly behind his back – described as “loving and sweet” by netizens.
