Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Kyo’s wedding to be held in utmost privacy
Their agencies have said that the pair are not even planning to take any photos during the ceremony
With South Korean actors Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki’s wedding only four days away, many have been very gearing up to see the events of the big day unfold. However, it seems that that is now unlikely, as their agencies have issued a statement yesterday saying that the ceremony would be completely private with no media coverage.
Sources from their agency have expressed that the couple were not intending to set up a photo wall to use as a back drop for photo taking but were instead going to use old photos. It was also said that the press would not get a chance to interview any celebrities that were attending the special event.
“The wedding ceremony will be held privately. There will be no pre-wedding press conference or photo time,” a source from Joong Ki’s agency said.
The couple were also rumoured to be wearing traditional Korean outfits during the ceremony although this claim has neither been confirmed nor denied. It had already been clarified yesterday that fellow actor Lee Kwang Soo would not be the MC for the wedding, but would only be attending as a guest. The only confirmed detail for now was that Hye Kyo’s good friend, and fellow singer Ock Joo Hyun would be singing the congratulatory song that day.
The wedding will be held on Oct 31 at the Shilla hotel. Despite the large amount of money spent on the event, the actual ceremony will be small and private, only featuring close family and friends. The pair will also be heading to Europe for their honeymoon after the wedding.
