Tom Cruise Shares on Visiting Korea for Seventh Time

Tom Cruise, who is visiting Korea for the seventh time to promote Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, said "Thank you for the warm welcome whenever I visit."

The actor attended a press conference, held at the Grand Intercontinental Hotel in Seoul on July 30, where he said of visiting Korea for the seventh time, "Whenever I come to Korea, I′m given a warm welcome. I′m always happy."He continued, "I like that there are so many people who love movies in Korea. I′ve wanted to come to Korea since I was young."

When asked about any difficulties he had filming the action scenes in the film, Tom Cruise said, "Fortunately, I haven′t had any major issues so far. Through 35 years of filming movies, I′m realizing my dream. It′s a job that always gives me happiness."

Tom Cruise will be meeting with fans at a red carpet event set to take place at the Lotte World Mall today at 5 p.m. KST.

Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation is a film in which Ethan Hunt and the IMF team are given a mission to destroy Syndicate, an international terror organization. It premieres on July 30.
