[Video] ′Produce 101 Season′ Reveals Second Round of Eliminations

Produce 101 Season 2 has aired the second round of rankings and eliminations.

During the May 26 episode of Mnet′s Produce 101 Season 2, the program continued to show high ratings by peaking at 3.7% and receiving an average of 3.3%. During the 8th episode, the highly anticipated concept challenge began. The trainees received 5 new tracks produced by top composers and producers for the next challenge and they were unable to hide their excitement.

The trainees were split into 5 groups to perform each of the 5 tracks based on viewer votes. And through the episode, viewers were able to see their passion as they prepared their stages.

Additionally, the episode also featured the second round of eliminations where only the top 35 contestants remained. Fans showed huge interest in the program with this round of votes receiving over 55 million votes, which is two times more than the first round.

First place went to Kim Jong Hyun who received over 2.5 million votes. After the announcement Kim Jong Hyun shared, "Number 1 makes me happy, but also makes me feel a lot of pressure. I′ll try even harder so that I don′t break the trust of the viewers."
