Dennis Chew and his Double Ds

Other than this character, Dennis will have five other roles in the movie, with a host of different getups and costumes.

“I play a variety of roles in this movie, from young to old, male to female. It took a long time to film and come up with the characters as well,” Dennis shared.

While everyone remained tight-lipped regarding the other roles that Dennis will play, executive producer Jack Neo did reveal that they might be dubbing over and changing Dennis’s voice to suit the different characters as well.

“For example, his voice could be changed to suit his current role! So what you hear now might not be what you’ll be hearing in the movie,” he revealed.

Additionally, this is not the only female role that the 42-year-old will be playing in the movie. Dennis recounted something that he had overheard whilst filming outdoors dressed as the female character ‘Ah Hong’.

“There were bystanders nearby when we were filming, and I [overheard] them saying, ‘Oh, its Pan Lingling filming’ in Hokkien,” he laughed, acknowledging that he did look similar to the actress, who plays his mum in the longform drama 118.

Co-star Maxi, who acts alongside Dennis’s tuition centre boss character the most, revealed that he was a little distracted when they first started filming.

“I have to make sure that I maintain eye contact while filming, and that my eyes wouldn’t stray [to the cleavage on display],” he laughed.

Dennis then shared that when Maxi first saw Dennis’s character, his first words to him was, “Eh, can I touch [your breasts]?”, and that today alone, at least five people have asked to touch his fake chest.

Maxi also expressed interest in trying out roles that required him to cross dress as well, with Dennis sliding in a jab at the actor.

“I can imagine [what would happen] if Maxi were to act as a busty woman already. His hands will never leave his chest area,” he joked.
