Insta-buzz: What the stars were up to this week

Wonder no longer, for Ella Chen has confirmed that she is expecting her first child. The S.H.E. member shared, “It’s been really tough for someone who can’t keep secrets like me (and) I can finally share the news now that things are stable - I’m pregnant!”

Selina shared the post with the added caption, “I’m going to cry and I want to tell everyone that I’m going to be an aunt!” Fans are also rejoicing at the news, and have started the countdown to welcome the new addition to the family.

Aww, it’s been some months since Linda Chung gave birth to her daughter, Kelly and look how the little one has grown! Fans have commented that the bundle of joy is the split image of her father, with others musing that they’d love to see Linda return to acting soon.

Noah Yap and Kate Pang learned this the hard way this week with their respective posts. Tosh posted a screen capture of the Ah Boys’ comments on Noah’s Facebook post, leaving many in stitches.

Kate, on the other hand, posted this seemingly innocent photo with the caption, “Andie, I…”. Xiang Yun finished her sentence with, “Am pregnant again?”, which was swiftly responded to by Andie. “Xiang Yun jie, please spare me!” We’ll take that as a no.

JJ uploaded this photo with one of Jimmy Lin’s boys, Jenson, with the caption, “I’m here to experience the world of babies!”

Jimmy then shared the snaps on his own Facebook page, adding on, “You can have your pick of which boy you like to bring home for a few days. This way, you can step into the world of fatherhood too. Who else wants to give it a try?”

Yao Wen Long’s ‘little En En’, as she is affectionately known, turns one this week, with the proud daddy wishing his princess to grow up to be happy and an obedient child. Sharing that her pink frock was a gift from Huang Biren, the little one’s look of concentration makes us wonder what caught her attention in this snap.

Joanne ,who has been busy working on upcoming drama Dream Coder, was surprised by this stunning bouquet when she arrived home after a long day. While she didn’t mention who it was from, we can only say that there are no prizes for guessing who instantly brightened up her day.

Jeffrey and Felicia went public with their relationship recently and have since been openly expressing their affections for one another on their respective social media platforms. While they may have denied being together for a period of time (yes, even before the Star Awards), we reckon nobody’s surprised that the lovebirds have been dating for a while.

Speaking of lovebirds, Shane and Kimberly shared a snap of the two of them smiling brightly for the camera, with Shane's tongue-in-cheek caption claiming that his smile was because “he has his beer”, with his girlfriend being mentioned as an afterthought.

When Kimberly told us about their relationship in August, she chuckled that they have “a lot of photos together”, but that they were mostly kept for remembrance sake. We’re hoping more of these photos to see the light of day, because these two are simply adorable together.

The second character of Nathan’s Chinese name, Xiang Yang (向洋), sounds the same as the Mandarin character for sun and sheep, leading to this week’s conundrum: is he more like a sheep (the caption reads “I really look like a sheep”) or the sun?

His snap with Sherry Tan, which was posted by the former actress, was accompanied by the caption, “Nathan Hartono, who’s just like a ray of sunlight!”

You know that feeling you get when you haven’t caught up on your favourite drama and someone spoils it for you? Fans of currently-airing drama Moon Lovers have the biggest spoiler alert to deal with - lead actor, Lee Jun Ki. Posting this snap of the 10th Prince’s (played by EXO’s Baekhyun) tragic death, his cheery smile and witty caption (a line from BIGBANG’s ‘Lies’) lifted many fans’ moods instantly.

Romeo and Flapper reunited this week, with the actor sharing that it’s been “too long” since they’ve met - they last worked together on 2014’s Mystic Whispers. Judging by that big smile on Flapper’s face, we daresay he’s glad to see Romeo too.

Guess who’s back? Local songbird Tanya Chua has returned to our sunny shores ahead of her Lemuria 2016 concert this December, asking in her caption if we’ve missed her. Fans have commented on her post, wondering if her boyfriend, Johan Martin, will be here during her visit too. We’ll have to wait and see if we’ll find out!
