The Wangs celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival with a new family member

This year’s Dragon Boat Festival was special for Wang Leehom and his wife Lee Jinglei, as the couple celebrated the occasion with a new family member, their youngest daughter Jiana. "This year our family has one more member, so that means one extra dumpling!" wrote Leehom on Facebook.

Also, doesn’t their firstborn Jiali look so cute curiously pointing to the dumpling in her dad’s hand?

Elvin Ng is now a proud uncle of two

“I'm #Pehpeh x2 now!” Elvin proudly announced last Sunday night with a photo of himself holding newborn baby Arissa, his younger brother’s second daughter (“peh peh”, or “bo bo” in Mandarin, is a term for one’s father’s older brother). He is also uncle to two-year-old Nicole, whom he showed gently stroking her new little sister’s head in another video.

Jade Seah becomes an aunt

Joining the auntie club for the first time, on the other hand, is Jade, whose older brother and sister-in-law welcomed baby Natilin into the world on May 30. “I am so stoked to be an aunt! All the pretty wee clothes and shoes I get to buy now”, she gushed in her caption. Looks like Natilin will be one delightfully spoilt niece.

Make sure to share plenty of pictures with us, Jade!

Lee Teng celebrates his 33rd birthday

Another artiste who celebrated his birthday (this time, on the actual day itself) was Lee Teng, who turned 33 on May 30. The multi-hyphenate enjoyed two gatherings, one with his “homies” (including Pornsak and Zhang Zhen Huan), and another with his teacher, mentor and boss Michelle Chong, who praised him as “Entrepreneurial, down-to-earth, driven, humble, hardworking, witty, articulate, bilingual, unassuming” and increasingly handsome in her tribute to him on her page.

The Qi’s enjoy a family outing

With Qi Yuwu set to jet out of the country for work again soon, he and his brood have been spending as much time as they can together. Last weekend, they visited the Gallery Children’s Biennale at the National Gallery, where Baby Qi went wild with dot stickers in Yayoi Kusama’s The Obliteration Room, pasting them all over the furniture, walls, herself, and dad.

The leftover stickers weren’t wasted. When they got home, handy mama Joanne Peh actually made a cardboard play kitchen, while Yuwu coated it with Gesso primer. Baby Qi immediately started decorating her new toy with the colourful dots.

Zed won’t let Daddy kiss Mummy

It looks like Fann Wong’s son wants her all to himself, even if it means pushing her husband – and his dad – Christopher Lee away during a smooching attempt! “Hey, this is my wife!” poor Christopher protested, as his tiny son stood his ground between the couple.

Yvonne Lim jets back home for her dad’s birthday

Ah, so this is the real reason Yvonne and her family made a seemingly sudden trip back to Singapore (during which she also caught up with her showbiz friends): to celebrate her dad’s birthday! Unfortunately, she also revealed that her hubby Alex Tien was down with food poisoning, followed by her little boy AJ.

But before that, the family – minus baby Alexa – dropped by the Army Open House 2017 as AJ is a fan of army tanks and helicopters. “Things we do for our kids...sweating lots under the hot sun, taking pictures, worrying heatstroke etc..just to let them experience and learn (sic)”, Yvonne wrote. But it looks like all that “suffering” was worth it!

Fans of the South Korean heartthrob finally have a new production of his to look forward to (the Korean remake of American series Criminal Minds), and it looks like it’ll present a very different image from his previous drama Scarlet Heart: Ryeo (and his flirtatious, fan service-saturated fan meeting).

Now where's that fire emoji when you need it...

Jacelyn Tay and her little knight in London

The stylish mummy, who is holidaying in the UK with her son Zavier and husband Brian, shared a hilarious anecdote demonstrating how her little boy has indeed inherited her acting genes: during a visit to the Tower of London, he insisted on changing into his brand new knight costume, commanded, “Call me Knight Zavier!” and tried to join the other costumed performers at the venue. He then ended his adventure with a victorious peace sign.

Jeanette Aw updates on a set injury

Yikes! It looks like Jeanette’s action-packed role as the fierce Man Man on 118 2 hasn’t exactly been the best for her physical wellbeing. Earlier this week, she posted this text on her Instagram Stories, saying that she had sprained her wrist (ouch!) a week ago during a stunt scene. Thankfully, she also reassured everyone that she is all good.

Take care of yourself, Jeanette!

Joakim Gomez’s early Father’s Day gift

Wah, way to spoil market, Joakim. The DJ posted a photo of him going guitar-shopping with his dad as an advanced Father’s Day present, and they eventually settled on a fancy-sounding “Fender Mexican Stratocaster Vintage Style Fiesta Red”, which Gomez Sr. has “been eyeing for the longest time”.

Vivian Hsu’s son: a rock star in the making?

We shouldn’t be surprised that little Dalton Lee, the offspring of a superstar singer/actress, could display this kind of swagger, but we’re still extremely impressed by that level of expressiveness and passion in these shots. Mum Vivian, however, seemed less than amused, writing, “[He’s] singing so much that he’s forgotten about me!”
