YES 933 deejay Siau Jiahui announced her engagement earlier this year and walked down the aisle on November 27 with a mysterious Mr. T. The two were matchmade by a mutual friend who felt that they would be a good pair.
Over 200 guests attended the couple’s wedding dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel, with Chinese radio deejays from YES 933, Love 97.2FM and Capital 95.8FM among those in attendance. Former YES 933 deejay Ivy Tan was the host for the night.
A video depicting the love story between the two, which was directed by Jiahui, was also screened during the dinner.
One of the highlights of the night was when the groom was invited to guess who was his bride amongst three “girls” – who were later revealed to be men – YES 933’s Kun Hua, Love 97.2FM’s Wallace Ang and radio personality Cruz Teng.
The men were asked to make kissing noises, from which Mr. T was supposed to identify his wife; the audience was tickled pink by his final choice of Wallace and the subsequent unveiling of the three contestants to the groom.
