Ady An undergoes minor surgery

Taiwanese actress Ady An shared that she will be going for a “small operation” yesterday, shocking her fans.

The 37-year-old revealed that her body’s condition had changed recently, and that her doctor had advised her to go under the knife as soon as possible due to the life-threatening condition.

As she did not want to worry her fans, Ady maintained that she would only be going in for a “small surgery”. After the surgery, the actress shared that everything went “well” and both her family and her husband were by her side throughout the ordeal.

“All I need now is a good rest to recuperate, thank you everyone,” she said.

Although she did not specify the exact details of her medical condition, it was reported that Ady had experienced some pain in her stomach, as well as vaginal bleeding. After consulting with a doctor, she was diagnosed with ectopic pregnancy, where the baby attaches outside the uterus.

After the surgery, all of Ady’s pre-planned work schedules were cancelled, as she focuses on recuperating.

“It’s not advisable to disturb Ady right now, let her recuperate in peace,” her manager replied, when asked for a comment on the reports.

Ady An tied the knot with her husband in June last year, after a surprise announcement over Weibo.
