Anita Yuen is not at odds with Stephen Chow

The 46-year-old actress shared that contrary to what the rumours said, working together with Stephen was a pleasant experience.

To prove her point, Anita revealed an episode that took place during one of the shoots. As it was an artistic director’s birthday that day, she had openly joked about Stephen treating everyone to a meal to celebrate the occasion. Afterwards, the director really did what she said.

“If we were unhappy while working together, this definitely would not have happened!” the actress said.

She added, “I don’t remember if I offended him, but I wouldn’t have dared to! I may be silly at times, but I will never say those thoughtless words.”

Anita further shared that there was simply no further opportunities to work together again afterwards, as she was set to film 1996 romance drama Who’s the Woman, Who’s the Man at that time.
