Hong Kong actress Anita Yuen married husband Hong Kong actor Julian Cheung in 2011, and have one son together, 11-year-old Morton Cheung.

The 46-year-old actress recently revealed to Hong Kong media that Morton had to see a psychiatrist, because he was displaying problematic behaviour in school.

According to his teacher, Morton disrupted his classmates and could not pay attention in class. This led to suspicion that that he might have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or Autism, and was recommend to see a psychiatrist to find out what was wrong.

“After I saw the psychiatrist together [with Morton], I realised I was the one with a problem, not him,” Anita revealed.

The actress shared that she is a strict mother, and would want Morton to do what she told him to. On the other hand, Julian is less uptight, causing the two of them to disagree on appropriate parenting methods. However, she will insist that she is right.

She revealed that Morton once told Julian that he “wants another mother”. His statement shocked her and made her realise that the problem lies with her strict parenting.
