Taiwanese actress-singer Annie Yi has given birth to a baby girl on Monday, according to her husband, Chinese actor Qin Hao, who announced the news on his Weibo early this morning.
The 38-year-old had posted a picture of his wife and their daughter, nicknamed ‘Xiao Mi Li’ or ‘Little Rice Grain’ and wrote: “Welcome to Earth, Little Rice Grain! The two princesses in our household have finally met!”
In the picture, a slightly haggard-looking Annie can be seen gazing tenderly at her newborn daughter. The actress-singer later shared Qin Hao’s post, and poked fun at herself by describing herself as “the foolish mother who cried more than Little Rice Grain.”
46-year-old Annie, whose pregnancy was considered to be ‘high-risk’ due to her age, gave birth to Little Rice Grain, who weighed 3.19 kg, in America. The actress-singer had flown to America in late May, together with her son from her first marriage to Taiwanese singer-host Harlem Yu, Harrison, who was born in America as well. Her husband, Qin Hao, flew over once he had managed to clear his filming schedule.
