Barbie Hsu aborts third child

her husband, Chinese businessman husband Wang Xiaofei, kept their hopes up, and were reported to have prayed for their child’s well-being ever since they received the grim news.

The actress had shared the good news of her pregnancy with the media last month, but admitted then that it was “hard to confirm how things will go” and said she will “leave everything to fate”.

Alas, during a recent checkup, her doctor informed her that the child’s heartbeat could not be detected, and suggested that the couple consider abortion.

In a media statement earlier this afternoon, Barbie shared that she is resting well after undergoing the procedure, and thanked everyone for their concern towards her. She shared that she has “learnt a lot” from this experience and revealed that she is already content with the “time spent with her family members”.
