Benny Chan’s eldest daughter Elizabeth may have just graduated from kindergarten, but the 7-year-old will not be joining her peers in grade 1 in the new school year. Instead, she will be skipping two grades to join the big kids in grade 3 this September.The Hong Kong actor’s wife Lisa Jiang shared a picture of her daughter’s back view yesterday (Jul 16) and penned a poignant note to her firstborn.“As you walk further and further away, I feel reluctant - as though I’m sending you off to boarding school. Congratulations on entering grade 3 in September. I hope you’ll go forward bravely and lead a joyful life, rain or shine.”

Netizens left comments on Lisa’s post, questioning the mother-of-four if she had mixed up Elizabeth’s school grades.

Lisa personally responded to queries left by netizens, confirming that her daughter will skip two grades in school. She also set the record straight about Elizabeth’s age and clarified that the young girl is only 6-going-on-7 years old, as her birthday falls on November 30.

Lisa and Benny married in 2011 and the couple have four kids together.
