Charlene Choi’s camera-shy boyfriend steals spotlight at birthday party

Charlene Choi recently organised a dinner party to celebrate her father’s birthday, which falls on October 23.

The dinner party was attended by close to a hundred guests, with a number of the singer-actress’s celebrity friends in attendance as well. However, what caught the attention of netizens was the fact that Charlene’s businessman boyfriend, Anthony Shek, was present as well.

Charlene and Anthony went public with their relationship in 2017, and have been spotted attending weddings and parties together. However, the couple rarely posts pictures of them together online, with Charlene once sharing that her beau “ does not like to be photographed”. Thus, many were surprised to see Anthony in the party pictures posted online by Charlene’s friend, actress Strawberry Yeung.

In one photo, Anthony can be seen standing between Charlene and her father, with his hand on Charlene’s father’s shoulder. Fans pointed out that Anthony appears to be “at ease with his future father-in-law”, encouraging the couple to tie the knot soon.

Charlene and Anthony have been caught up in wedding rumours for a while now, with the latest reports alleging that the lovebirds intend to tie the knot by the end of the year.

Charlene was married to singer-actor Ronald Cheng for four years. The ex-couple divorced in 2010.
