David Tao caught up in monetary dispute
The singer was reportedly cheated of his money by an unnamed female
Taiwanese singer David Tao was recently spotted at a district prosecutor’s office in Taiwan, accompanied by a lawyer and his managers.
David and his lawyer were seen going in for a brief interrogation, before swiftly leaving the office. When asked to comment on the matter, David only said that he “can’t really talk” about the matter, with a smile on his face.
Similarly, the 47-year-old’s manager would only say that it was a private matter, and that they were unable to reveal what type of case it was.
According to reports however, David is currently embroiled in a monetary dispute with an unnamed female, Miss Huang. The singer reportedly accused Miss Huang of cheating his money, with both parties summoned to the district prosecutor’s office for further investigations. But, Miss Huang failed to turn up on that day.
David has been keeping a low profile in recent years, due to his cheating scandal, where he was accused of cheating on his wife, Penny Jiang, with his ex-girlfriend, Yang Zi Qing in 2015. He later announced that he had indeed cheated in a press conference days later, creating a media furore. His wife, Penny, later forgave him, and the duo remain happily married.
