Did Hong Kong actors Derek Tsang and Venus Wong get married in secret?

According to Hong Kong reports, Hong Kong actor-director Derek Tsang has tied the knot with his girlfriend of six years, Hong Kong actress Venus Wong.

The couple are said to be in a stable relationship, and moved in together last year. Although Derek was reported as having declared that he’ll “never marry”, many still hope for Derek and Venus to take their relationship to the next level.

Derek’s father, Hong Kong actor Eric Tsang was said to have first introduced Venus to Derek a few years back, and their romance soon blossomed. On Derek’s birthday last year, Venus referred to the 39-year-old as her “one in a million, king and soulmate”.

The reports shared that Derek and Venus were suspected to have secretly tied the knot in Japan. When reporters called them to verify the news, their calls went straight to the couple’s mailbox. Derek’s older sister, Hong Kong singer-actress Bowie Tsang was evasive when asked about the reports of Derek’s marriage as well, choosing to reply, “It’ll be better for the parties involved to answer personally.”
