Ella Chen receives Valentine’s Day bouquet from husband

It has been more than four years since Taiwanese singer Ella Chen tied the knot with her husband, Malaysian businessman Alvin Lai but the lovebirds are still as loving as ever. The singer shared that she receives a bouquet of flowers from her husband every Valentine’s Day without fail, and this year is no exception.

She snapped a few pictures of the gifts she received from Alvin and posted them on her Facebook yesterday (Feb 13). She also took the time to pen down her emotions, “Although Alvin will be working late tomorrow, he made the effort to personally hand me this bouquet immediately after work and gave me a hug after. I’m happy to say that I’ve indeed married my love!”

“Maintaining a marriage requires a lot of work and effort that comes from within. Thank you, my hubby for always putting in so much effort. I love you too; Happy Valentine’s Day!” she added.

Fans expressed their envy at the singer’s wedded bliss and couldn’t help but to feel bad for fellow S.H.E members Selena Jen and Hebe Tien, who are still single. Ella, who is currently six-months pregnant, assured her fans with her reply, “Thank you for all of your well wishes; I believe the two of them will also find their happiness”.

This Valentine’s Day will be the last one that the singer and her husband will be spending together as a family of two as their baby boy is due to be delivered in the first half of 2017.
