Ella Chen sends out a midnight SOS on her Facebook page

Fans of Ella Chen were surprised to find a very out-of-character post from the Taiwanese singer-actress on her Facebook page last night (Nov 10).

“I’m about to break down. By any chance, has anyone picked up my passport,” Ella wrote in the post, along with 35 crying emojis.

Many fans quickly left comments advising her on what to do and how to get her passport replaced. However, the post was subsequently deleted a few hours later, leaving fans confused.

Later that day, Ella’s husband, businessman Alvin Lai made a post explaining the situation at hand.

As it turns out, Ella had lost her passport while returning to Taiwan after a work engagement. As she was at her wit’s end, she decided to turn to Facebook to ask for help. She managed to get a replacement passport the next day and thus deleted the post, as she did not wish for her fans to worry.

The singer-actress had posted a few weeks ago that November will be a month of “constant flying” for her, quipping that her nickname is now “Chen Flying Again”.
