Another shot from the celebration showed the singer planting a kiss on her daughter’s cheek to express her affection.

Ever since Faye reconciled with her boyfriend, Hong Kong singer Nicholas Tse, following her divorce with Li Yan’s father, fellow actor Li Yapeng, she has been slammed by netizens to be an uncaring mother who prioritises her own relationship over her children’s wellbeing.

Upon seeing the heartwarming shots, netizens showed their support for the actress and commented that “every parent has their own way of expressing their love for their child.”
