Gaile Lok does not intend to have a second child

Five months after giving birth to her first child, a baby boy named Hunter Chu, Hong Kong model-actress Gaile Lok made her first public appearance at a promotional event, where she shared more about her life as a mother-of-one.

The 39-year-old, who tied the knot with her businessman husband Ian Chu in July 2017, shared that she was overjoyed at the arrival of her son, who now occupies the number one spot in her heart.

Gaile readily admitted that she has yet to regain her pre-pregnancy figure, and that she is not worried about needing to shed the extra pounds. She added that she had just returned from the United States, as her mother wanted to see baby Hunter.

“She threw a party to celebrate my birthday, as well as to welcome Hunter to America,” Gaile laughed, revealing her mother’s excitement to meet her grandson.

Gaile also revealed Hunter’s Chinese name, Chu Le Qi (朱乐其), which was given to him by Ian’s father, as well as his middle name, Ethan.

The new mum shared that her life has changed drastically after giving birth, and that she spends most of her waking hours with her son.

“(Even) when I got my makeup done this morning, he was there with me in the studio, but as he fell asleep soon after, I sent him home first,” Gaile laughed.

When asked if she plans to give baby Hunter a younger brother or sister, Gaile replied that the couple has no intentions to have a second child at the moment, as she wants to spend more time with her son.
