Gigi Lai celebrates 9th wedding anniversary with Patrick Ma

January 18 marked the ninth wedding anniversary for former Hong Kong actress Gigi Lai and her businessman husband Patrick Ma, since the pair tied the knot in 2008.

To celebrate this special occasion, Gigi posted photos taken from her wedding shoot on Weibo, wishing her husband a happy anniversary.

In the photos, she could be seen smiling happily with her husband by her side, holding a bouquet of flowers he gifted her. “Thank you my dearest husband, for promising me a life of happiness nine years ago, and for building a warm and happy family together with me,” the 46-year-old actress wrote.

Gigi also shared that love to her means “spending each day with each other,” “showing concern for each other,” and “accepting each other’s wrinkles and white hair." She then ended her post thanking Patrick for "growing old with me, and for always cherishing me.”

The sweet message from the actress to her husband drew envy from netizens, who wished for her to stay blissfully married.

Gigi and Patrick tied the knot in 2008, after dating in secret for 8 years. The pair welcomed twin daughters, Pricia and Gianna in 2010, and a third daughter, Pegella in 2012.

Gigi retired from acting to takeover her brother's aesthetic clinic business after he was involved in a serious car accident in 2007. The company was successfully listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange in January last year.
