Hannah Quinlivan posts first update after birth of son

Jay Chou and Hannah Quinlivan confirmed the good news that they have welcomed their second child, a son, through a Facebook post in the wee hours of June 21.

In his post, the second-time father shared that while the song ‘Past Life Lover’, which his firstborn Hathaway helped compose did not manage to score a nomination at the Golden Melody Awards, he hoped that his second child will be able to “avenge” his sister in this aspect.

Hannah soon reposted his picture of herself with her children on her profile, with an added nugget of information for their fans. “I suspect that our son was his older sister’s lover from a past life instead, because (Hathaway) keeps trying to kiss him. Thank you everyone for your concern, and thank you to the doctors and nurses for all the care that you’ve shown us,” she wrote.

After seeing her post, fans took to the comments to send their well wishes to the family, including some that read, “Seeing you happy makes us happy too”, “Your children’s hair colour comes from being of a mixed heritage” and more.

Hannah’s fan club also posted an update of the actress’ whereabouts.

She was spotted in Jay’s friend and music arranger, Jason Huang’s home, where her two children were seen tinkering around on the piano. Netizens noticed that Hannah seems to have shed most of her baby weight, as she looked close to her pre-pregnancy figure despite recently having given birth.
