Harlem Yu welcomes second child

Days after being seen attending the opening party of a restaurant together with his heavily pregnant wife, Taiwanese newscaster Jinny Chang, Taiwanese singer Harlem Yu announced the birth of his second child on his Facebook page.

“[Jinny’s] given birth to a baby! [The baby] looks so much like his dad! Look at their tiny feet, it’s too cute!,” the 55-year-old wrote.

However, the picture uploaded by Harlem gave a huge shock to anyone expecting the usual baby pictures. Instead of sharing the baby’s face with everyone, Harlem had edited his face into the picture instead, even sucking his thumb to complete his look. To appease everyone, he added in a picture of the baby’s feet as well, leaving everyone in stitches with his antics.

His fans also played along with Harlem’s joke, commenting, “the baby looks so similar to the father!”.

When contacted for more details regarding Harlem’s bundle of joy, the singer’s manager shared that it was not convenient for him to reveal more details regarding the baby’s gender and birth. He did share that the singer will be focusing on accompanying his wife throughout her confinement period, and that he will not be attending any work schedules for the time being. He also let on that Harlem is expected to return to work at the end of the year.

It was previously reported that Harlem and Jinny are expecting a baby girl. The reports were neither acknowledged nor denied by Harlem’s manager, who’d only say that Harlem “did not tell me anything."

Harlem tied the knot with Jinny in August last year, before revealing that she was three months pregnant in December. This is the second marriage for Harlem, who was previously married to Taiwanese actress-singer Annie Yi, with whom he has a 15-year-old son, Harrison Yu.
