Hong Kong star Jackie Chan shocked many when the trailer for his new action movie, Bleeding Steel, was released, showing the 63-year-old actor performing several dangerous stunts.

Some of the stunts include fighting on the roof of the Sydney Opera House and scaling down the building, which is around 20-storeys high, without a wire.

The actor has admitted that he knew the risks of not taking better care of his body at his age and said that, “I could almost have frozen, burned or have been suffocated to death.”

“If I am not careful during one of my combat scenes, I might end up having to sit in a wheelchair for the rest of my life,” Jackie said.

Bleeding Steel also stars actors Show Luo and Nana Ou-yang, both who have expressed admiration for their co-star.

“The day before I was supposed to meet Jackie, I could not sleep. Being casted in this movie with him is like a dream come true for me,” said Show, who plays Li Sen in the film.

Nana, who plays a mysterious woman Nancy, was also full of praise for Jackie, saying that he takes very good care of his cast mates on set.

Bleeding Steel was filmed in Australia and was even said to have used real guns and bullets to make the combat scenes more realistic.
