Taiwanese pop star Jay Chou and his wife, Hannah Quinlivan, got their faces painted as comic book characters for Halloween.
But Hannah’s purple wig, large eyes and exaggerated eyebrows led many fans to mistake her for singer Jolin Tsai, a former girlfriend of Jay’s.
“Happy Halloween! Wishing everyone a happy Halloween in comic style,” Hannah wrote on Facebook early Saturday morning.
Taiwanese-American Mandopop singer Lee Hom got into the holiday spirit too, and dressed up as Aladdin-style royals with his wife, Lee Jing Lei, and their 1-year-old daughter, Jia Li.
“From beyond the border, happy Halloween! Trick or treat!” Lee Hom wrote on Facebook.
Like Jay, Lee Hom is another celeb father fiercely protective of his daughter’s privacy, and obscured Jia Li’s face in his family portrait with a cartoon jack-o’-lantern.
