Taiwanese multi-hyphenate posted a picture of some crayon scribblings on Facebook yesterday, comparing it to the work of American artist Cy Twombly.

“Every child has a chance of becoming just like Cy Twombly on the right,” the 38-year-old wrote.

His favourite piece by the artist is a painting called ‘The Four Seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter’ and went on to comment about the latter’s “blackboard scribbles,” in particular, a piece called ‘Untitled (New York City)’ which sold for US$70 million (approximately S$98.1 million).

“I believe many teachers who use blackboards daily must be in disbelief, just like me,” Jay added.

After the picture was posted, eagle-eyed fans spotted a pair of tiny hands in the bottom left picture and guessed the artworks belonged to his daughter, Hathaway Chou.

Jay was recently spotted in an art gallery together with his wife, Taiwanese model, Hannah Quinlivan.

Jay and Hannah tied the knot in January 2015 and welcomed their first child, Hathaway Chou, 2, in July the same year. The couple announced that they are expecting their second child, a son, in January this year.
