Hong Kong actor and singer Jaycee Chan, 33, and Taiwanese actor Kai Ko, 24, were seen hanging out in Taipei over three consecutive days.
On April 1, the two friends were spotted attending Eason Chan’s concert together. The next day Jaycee led friends to the restaurant Kai’s family owns, together with a number of girls who looked to be Eurasian. Kai then appeared outside the restaurant with a large black dog, and after a helper took the dog for a walk, he headed inside to join his friends.
An hour later, the group left the restaurant and waited outside for taxis to arrive. One of the Eurasian girls had a face mask on and kept a low-profile.
The next day, Kai was seen going to a braised pork rice restaurant on Roosevelt Road and buying takeaway before heading to Xinyi district, where Jaycee lives.
When asked about the dinner gathering afterwards, Jaycee clarified that it was merely a bunch of friends meeting up, and that others present included Hong Kong actor John Shum, his daughter Yoyo Sham, and Oscar Hung, the 25-year-old son of actress and director Sylvia Chang.
Jaycee and Kai were arrested for marijuana use and possession in August 2014 in Beijing, and Jaycee was handed a six-month jail term. Following his release last February, he moved to Taipei.
