Taiwanese singer Jimmy Lin directed the music video of his new title song ‘My Pride’, and got his
wife, Kelly Chen, their twin sons 2-year-old Jenson and Kyson, as well as his oldest son, 8-year-old Kimi involved in filming.

Kimi’s appearance in the MV also came as a pleasant surprise to many fans, especially after Jimmy made a conscious effort to keep Kimi out of the public eye following his popularity on the first season of Chinese reality TV show Where Are We Going, Dad?

It was said that the shoot was fraught with difficulties although Jimmy had things planned out, and even brought Kimi’s toys on set to use them as props for the scenes he wanted.

The filming team first set out for the shoot near hilly areas in Ruifang District at 3am in the morning, and was faced with cold temperatures below 10 degrees. Thick fog also obstructed vision, which made driving to the location very difficult.

The crew then waited at the filming location for four hours before the fog cleared up so filming can begin. Despite their efforts, the fog still messed up their hairstyles, putting filming on hold so the stylists could rework their hair.Exasperated that the filming is not going according to plan, Jimmy then instructed the crew to shoot at the beach instead.
