Hong Kong actors Kevin Cheng and Grace Chan started the Year of the Pig on a high note as they welcomed their first child, a son, last week. Grace reportedly gave birth on February 15, but Kevin did not confirm the good news to reporters when he was spotted at the Hong Kong Adventist Hospital.

According to Hong Kong reports, the baby boy was delivered via caesarean section, with both mother and child in good health. Many speculated that Kevin’s refusal to admit that his son had been born was so that Grace and their bundle of joy would be able to rest without the prying eyes of the paparazzi on them.

Since then, the couple is believed to have brought their baby boy home as Kevin confirmed the arrival of his child through social media.

“Every parent say that their own baby is the cutest. I finally understand how they feel!” he quipped as he posted a snap of himself carrying his newborn. Although it was only the baby’s side profile that was revealed in the photo, netizens were quick to shower the couple with congratulatory words as they cooed over how adorable the little boy looks.

Grace also posted the same photo on her social media with the caption, “Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Hong Kong Adventist Hospital Stubbs Road for making his arrival the most comfortable and stress-free! More importantly, thank you for respecting our privacy so much!”

She added, “Finally, just want to let everyone know that Mommy is healthy! Baby R is behaving~ And Daddy is taking good care of all of us! (sic)”

Through her post, it has also been revealed that their son is named Rafael. Neither parent has confirmed his exact date of birth.

Kevin and Grace tied the knot in Bali last August after three years of dating.
