Lin Chi-ling to make first public appearance with husband next month

Soon after announcing their union, Taiwanese model-actress Lin Chi-ling and Japanese actor-singer AKIRA, who’s part of the boyband EXILE, quickly returned to work, with Chi-ling making appearances in events both overseas and in Taiwan, while AKIRA remained in Japan for the most part.

However, the lovebirds have yet to attend the same event together - at least, not yet.

Chinese broadcaster CCTV held a press conference August 27, where they announced that their annual Mid-Autumn Festival celebration will be broadcasted on September 13.

Apart from announcing the date of the celebration, CCTV also revealed a list of special guests that will be gracing the event and performing. According to the list, Chi-ling and AKIRA will be attending the celebration and performing on-stage together. The performance is likely to be the celebrity couple’s first public appearance together after announcing their marriage.

Other celebrities set to grace the event include celebrity couple Huang Xiaoming and Angelababy, Chinese singers Jane Zhang and Chris Lee, Chinese singer-actor Jackson Yee, who’s a member of the boyband TFBOYS, and more.
