Linda Chung makes first public appearance after birth of second child

After giving birth to her second child, a son named Jared Anthony in September last year, Canadian-born actress Linda Chung has remained in Vancouver, Canada to be with her family.

Recently, she made an appearance at a promotional event in Hong Kong, making it her first since giving birth to her second child. At the event, she revealed that both Jared, as well as her two-year-old daughter, Kelly, will be in Hong Kong as well. The actress shared that they intend to spend the Easter holidays in Hong Kong.

Linda shared that Jared did very well on his first flight, and did not cry or make a fuss at all. “I returned (to Hong Kong) first with my son. My husband and daughter will follow soon after,” Linda said. “It was my son’s first overseas trip, and he did so well. On the plane, he slept for nine hours, and then started playing with the flight stewardesses. Many of them came over to play with him, and praised him for being so obedient. He didn’t cry at all throughout the entire journey!”

As the event was held in a shopping centre, Linda’s fans thronged the area, filling up three levels of the mall. The 34-year-old expressed her gratitude to her fans for turning up, and shared that she will be releasing a self-composed new song next month, complete with a music video that she shot and directed her self.

Linda admitted that the entire endeavour was a little tougher than she expected, as she could only start work after her kids fell asleep at night.

“This song is really important to my family, it’s the most important song in my life, because it was written for my kids,” she revealed.

Linda tied the knot with her chiropractor husband Jeremy in February 2016 and welcomed their first child, Kelly, in August of the same year. Jared was born in September last year.
