Myolie Wu welcomes second child
The actress shared their first family photo online
Hong Kong actress Myolie Wu has given birth to her second child, a baby boy. The actress announced the good new on July 6 and revealed more about her bundle of joy.
The picture featured the hands of her family of four, and was captioned, "Hello Ryan Lee, 李奕霖 (Lee Yik Lam),Daddy, Mommy and Gor Go welcome you to our family!!(sic)”
In an interview with the media, Myolie shared that she had given birth to Ryan naturally, and that he weighed close to 3.6 kilograms at birth. The actress revealed that there were no hiccups and that she has since been discharged from hospital.
The 36-year-old, who is currently resting at home, shared that her elder son, 1-year-old Brendan was both happy and excited to welcome a younger sibling. She also thanked everyone for their well-wishes and blessings.
In a post on Instagram, Myolie’s husband, businessman Philip Lee shared that the first character of both Brendan and Ryan’s Chinese names were derived from the "generational name given from our clan’s family tree.”
He also shared more about the meaning behind Ryan’s English name, writing that it is "an Irish name, following in big brother Brendan’s footsteps. We liked the name and later found out it means 'little king'".
Myolie tied the knot with Philip in 2015, and welcomed their first child, a boy named Brendan in 2017.
