Nicholas Tse is not the father of Cecilia Cheung’s third child

In the latest development in the ‘ongoing search’ for the baby daddy of Hong Kong singer-actress Cecilia Cheung’s third child, the 38-year-old’s ex-husband, Hong Kong singer-actor Nicholas Tse was named as the mystery father of the baby boy, according to Hong Kong media.

Citing an anonymous informant, the reports stated that the father of Cecilia’s youngest child is none other than Nicholas, with whom she has had two sons, Lucas and Quintus, with. The informant also alleged that Nicholas has long broken up with his girlfriend, Chinese singer Faye Wong, and added that the divorced couple are planning to tie the knot in January next year.

On Weibo, it was rumoured that Nicholas himself "turned up at the full-month party of Cecilia’s baby”, and that he kissed Cecilia as well.

However, the rumours were quickly shot down by Nicholas’s work studio, who labelled the reports as “fake news”. Similarly, Cecilia’s work studio replied that the reports were “fake, of course”, when asked about it.

On Christmas Eve (December 24), Cecilia herself also posted a short video of her singing a Christmas song, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. She shared that she intended to spend Christmas with her three boys, saying, “I'm really happy, even though it’s tough, I feel really blessed!”.

Cecilia split from Nicholas in 2012, after six years of marriage. The couple has two sons together. In December this year, Cecilia confirmed that she had given birth to her third child, a son nicknamed ‘Little Prince’ in November. Speculation has been rife about the identity of the child’s father, though Cecilia has shared that she will not be addressing any reports regarding his identity.
