No bad blood between Fan Bingbing and Li Bingbing

Widely touted as rivals due to the nature of their jobs and their similar-sounding names, Chinese actresses Li Bingbing and Fan Bingbing have constantly been compared to each other. These comparisons have caused them to keep a distance from each other due to the competition of the industry but on Monday night’s Met Gala, all negative rumours about their friendship were resolved.

At the fashion event, the pair rocked the red carpet together and sat at the same table during the party. They were engaged in deep conversation and even posed for a picture, as if to prove that they are friends. In fact, both of them have followed each other on Weibo since November last year.

Deemed the Oscars of the fashion world, this year’s gala theme was “China: Through the Looking Glass” and celebrities from all over the world turned up in an array of gowns, showing their individual interpretations of the Chinese theme.

Although the star studded event showcased countless stunning outfits, nothing could beat the incredible line-up by the fashionistas from China.
