Phoebe Huang opens up about past miscarriage
The miscarriage makes it difficult for her to conceive again
Taiwanese singer Phoebe Huang revealed that while she wishes to have more children, a miscarriage she had in the past makes it difficult for her to have children again.
The singer wed Canadian actor-host Christopher Downs in 2006, and they have an 8-year-old daughter together named Kyana Poppy Downs. During a recent interview, Phoebe was asked why she and her husband never gave Kyana a sibling after so many years of marriage. In response, she revealed that she had managed to conceive once after Kyana was born, but the pregnancy ended in a miscarriage and she failed to get pregnant again after that.
The 44-year-old mother shared that she still keeps her hopes up, but her advanced age makes it difficult for her to bear a second child, which she claims is ‘a pity’.
When describing her relationship with her daughter, Phoebe shared that the two are very close, and mentioned that she is heartened because Kyana is obedient and has never let her down in her studies, despite her high expectations for her daughter.
