Known for being reticent and protective of her private life, Hong Kong songstress Faye Wong rarely shares updates of her personal life, or any pictures.
Recently, a number of pictures of the 48-year-old have been circulating online, for vastly different reasons.
Other than the heartwarming birthday party she threw for her youngest daughter, 12-year-old Li Yan, a set of pictures of the singer, dressed in an eye-catching red gown was posted online by her assistant.
In the pictures, Faye can be seen jokingly ‘walking the red carpet’, complete with a group of ‘paparazzi’ surrounding her, tickling the funny bones of netizens, who commented that they rarely get to see the humorous side of Faye.
On Monday (June 11), another netizen posted up a picture of Faye together with a friend. In the dimly-lit picture, Faye, who’s dressed simply in a white top, leans her head on her friend’s shoulder as she grins for the camera, showing off her fresh-faced beauty.
However, what caught the attention of netizens was the food stain on Faye’s top.
“Many people wouldn’t dare to say this, [but even] Faye Wong drips oil on her white tee like us,” the netizen who uploaded the picture wrote.
“It turns out that we’re all the same”, a netizen commented, while another wrote, “[Now] I finally have something in common with Faye - the food stain on our shirts.”
