Rainie Yang lashes out at fans who invade her privacy
“This is not how you show your support!”
Taiwanese singer-actress Rainie Yang has always been known for her frequent interactions with her fans online, replying to comments and posts tagging her every once in a while.
However, on Monday (September 16), the 35-year-old couldn't help but to take to her Weibo and Instagram account to chastise a number of her ‘fans’ who crossed the line.
“In the future, I will no longer interact with fans who affect my personal life. When you (stop) respecting me, there’s no need for me to respect you either,” she wrote in her post.
Later, the singer-actress followed up with another clarification, writing, “This is not how you show your support. Where do you draw the line? There’s a difference between stalking and chasing celebrities, so please know the difference between the two.”
Although she did not make any specific mention as to which incidents had caused her to flare up like this, netizens believe that fans have been trying to dig for more information about her recent engagement, along with her wedding plans.
After Rainie’s post, many of her fans took to the comments section to show their support for her, denouncing the fans who had crossed the line.
