Ruby Lin 2 kg away from ideal weight

Taiwanese actress Ruby Lin, who previously shared that she’s currently “working hard” in the gym for her new role in upcoming drama My Boy, showed up at the lensing ceremony for the series in a fitted black dress that showed off the fruits of her labour on Wednesday.

In the drama, the mother-of-one, who gave birth earlier this year in January, will play a director of an advertising company, who is independent and strong. The 41-year-old will be paired up with a new face, Taiwanese actor Derek Chang.

When praised for her svelte figure, the actress laughed and replied that she was still “two kilogrammes away” from her ideal weight. Ruby also shared that after becoming a mother, she wants to “return home every day and as soon as possible”, if she has nothing on, as she misses her daughter, nicknamed “Little Angel”.

At most, the actress can only bear to be apart from her baby for “four to five days”, and only if it’s because of work.

Ruby married Taiwanese actor Wallace Huo last August in a dreamy Bali wedding, and welcomed their first child, a daughter nicknamed Little Angel, in January.
