Ruby Lin returns to work after confinement

Ruby Lin has finally returned to work after halting work since December to prepare for labour. The Taiwanese actress made her first postpartum work appearance in a short video to raise awareness for campaign, Preserve the superstars of Mother Earth, as a wildlife advocate on World Wildlife Day (Mar 3).

The 41 year-old spotted a neat pony tail and a simple grey top in the video, she also looked radiant, albeit with rounder cheeks. Fans were elated to see a work-related update from the actress so soon after childbirth, and praised the first-time mother for being able to stay in tip-top condition after labour.

The fans commented, “One more pretty mummy in the showbiz!” while another said, “Since you’re recovering so well, quickly have a second baby!”

Ruby tied the knot with her husband, fellow actor Wallace Huo in Bali last August and remained fiercely private about her personal life, especially her pregnancy, after the wedding. She also only announced the birth of her daughter days after delivery and kept mum about the infant’s name, but she disclosed that she called her “Little Angel”.
