Sammi Cheng spends Valentine’s Day in the hospital
The Hong Kong singer’s husband Andy Hui was running a high fever
Hong Kong singer Sammi Cheng married husband Hong Kong singer Andy Hui in 2013, after dating for over 20 years.
This Valentine’s Day, unfortunately, saw the lovebirds spending the day in the hospital, as Andy was bedridden with a high fever of 40 degrees.
Sammi shared about her husband’s condition two days ago (Feb 18) and revealed that although Andy’s fever had subsided, he remains under careful supervision with his temperature taken every two hours.
The 45-year-old singer also revealed that Andy occasionally coughs out green phlegm, expressing her worry for her husband and lamenting that the “only thing she could do was to keep him company”.
Despite only having a simple fare of “plain vegetable noodles” for their Valentine’s Day meal, Sammi mused that facing the illness together was more important, and that the type of food they ate did not matter.
Upon seeing the singer’s tired appearance, fans urged her to take care of her own health as well even while taking care of her sick husband.
