Selina Jen looks back on burn accident in 2010
The actress suffered third-degree burns on her body after a nasty accident
It has been six years since Taiwanese singer Selina Jen suffered nasty third-degree burns on 50 percent of her body from an explosion that happened while filming the drama, I Have a Date with Spring. The singer spent a year in rehabilitation before making her return to showbiz subsequently.
Thanking the medical crew who took care of her during that difficult time, Selina posted a picture of a recent gathering they had on Facebook, and wrote, “These are my benefactors! It’s been six years, they saw me become an artiste again after I was a patient for so long”.
“Each and every one of you is an angel in my life,” she said.
The S.H.E member even joked that the nurses are a group of people who have seen her naked body.
Despite the tumultuous year that Selina had went through in 2016, following her divorce with ex-husband, Richard Chang, she overcame her difficulties and continued to spread positivity with her hobby of running.
